"What a great time! The A Frame is everything it’s claimed to be and more. Beautiful outdoor space, charming seaside decor, and a full kitchen for those who like to cook. The staircase leading to the beach is definitely for the sure-footed, but our group was up for the adventure and made several trips down there—watch your step! The welcome package had everything we needed prior to our arrival, so all that was left to do was enjoy. Thanks to Gavin and Laura for a great experience."

The cabin provided enough space for personal privacy while allowing time to socialize and nurture friendship. We spent a lot of time touring the Huron region and always felt excited to return to our rustic oasis. Leslie was always quick to answer our communication and created a welcoming environment. "Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every single one! The cottage grounds are just lovely, and so is the view of the lake. Lots of surrounding nature, including cheerful birds and an adorable family of chipmunks nearby. Really enjoyed walking along the beach, and visiting the towns nearby. We did encounter an appliance acting strangely, but after contacting the property manager she helped resolve the issue."

"This was our first time renting a cabin in Ontario. It held up to our expectations it was clean and the perfect size for our get away. The owners were helpful and responded in a timely fashion when we had a small issue. This cabin had everything you need. We liked that they thought about putting in some some amenities that maybe forgotten (eg tea, coffee, spices). We loved that it was dog ready with a dog towel, poop bags, pegs for the dogs. For us is is important to have a dog friendly cabin as...

"This property is a dog owners dream! Huge fenced backyard so you don't have to have your pup on leash all the time and we had access to a private beach which my bulldog loved. We used the beach daily and never ran into another person on it. The town of Bayfield has water bowls for dogs outside most shops and again our bulldog was welcome most places in town. All of this made vacationing with our dog really easy - which was initially a worry of ours when booking time away from home."

"Great spot with beautiful sunsets, great host, great neighbours. Had everything we needed with a/c and lots of fans to keep cool! Enjoyed reading through the books provided. Lots to see and do nearby. Love the living room view of the lake!!"

"First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...

"Was a beautiful property nice beach although the stairs going down to it were dangerous they need to be rebuilt also bbq tanks were empty cost me 40 dollars to get a tank One of my friends stepped on a fastener going down steps it went through his shoe and into his foot overall it was a great stay"

"This little gem is just out of reach of town but close enough to get whats needed to enjoy being under a starry sky! Enough room outside to keep two little girls happy and room inside to just enjoy watching a movie and relaxing. There are so many different beaches to enjoy along the lake side. Highly recommend and hope more people can enjoy the cottage the way we did."
