"Booked this property for 3 nights as we were attending a VMI graduation and a wedding. This was perfect. Linda made our stay awesome. We did a red-eye in and were able to check in early for a quick nap. The breakfast every morning was sooooo good. She even arranged a tea tasting, which unfortunately we were not able to attend because of our conflicting schedule. The room was large and comfortable. "We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. "Perfect place to escape. Gorgeous functioning farm property with rolling hills, beautiful sunsets and a sky full of stars at night. Owner was more than accommodating and the room was cozy and comfortable. Enjoy the jams and pickles made on site as well!"

"I stayed at this place because it was one of the few places still available in the area. I completely lucked out and had the most amazing experience. Not only was everything cozy and clean but we had almost hte entire upstairs to ourself. We had a spacious bathroom with a tub to definitely write home about, a kitchenette area, a common room, and the bedroom. I definitely got my money's worth and more!"

"We were disappointed with our stay at the Buckhorn Inn. I had called the owner in the morning to let them know of our time of arrival and nobody was there to unlock the door for us. After waiting for twenty minutes we drove to the next restaurant to call them, since there is no cell phone reception at the Inn.
