Location was unbeatable. Easy parking. Easy access for Allendale and Brentwood. This is honestly almost the only positive aspect for this place. It is neither Boho nor a guest house, but a poorly maintained studio in disrepair and dirty.The towel rack in the shower is rusted over, as are the shower curtain rod and curtain rings. One of the bathroom lights is missing a cover and the inside and bare bulb is covered in some kind of grimy substance. The ceiling fan over the bed is missing a remote. The window AC unit sounds like an in-room jet engine while the over the bed wall mounted unit looks like the inside is coated in black mold. There was evidence of a past leak in the water line for this unit resulting in the wall paint coming loose and oozing down the wall - obviously not recent and obviously not repaired.I arrived to find one lamp in the unit that was broken. When I alerted the property manager, I did get a response prompting me to try to switch, which was what was broken on the lamp in both directions which included exposed wiring. A new lamp did get dropped off, but not until after I plugged in the original and got lucky to not get shocked.The property is on the second floor and the stairwell light can only be turned on from inside the unit, not on entry, which makes climbing the stairs sketchy. Would not stay again. Would not recommend this property nor this property management group. The unit has been neglected.
