Lake Escape Too
Excellent property manager. House was exactly as promised and a few houses away from the lake. Definitely would stay here again!

5/5 Excellent

Perfect for girls weekend
The first thing I loved about this property was how easy Michelle was to work with! She was prompt to answer phone calls and texts and was extremely accommodating. The property was very clean and we loved the decor. It was perfect for families or girls weekend like ours. Even had a sweet doll house on the sun porch. The property is right off the strip and just down the road is beach access. It is a typical rocky lake beach so not great for sun bathing but would be great to take a tube down and float or swim in the lake. The kitchen gets hot when you cook but there is a grill on the small patio. The air conditioner had a little but of a tough time keeping up the first day and had pretty bad condensation but I believe that is typical for that style AC unit. In an earlier review I read the upstairs gets hot but in our stay it was the coolest part of the house. Fans and AC were running when we got there so it kept that area cool. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed each downstairs and the upstairs is 1 large room with multiple beds which I think would be ideal for a pair of couples going with their kids and worked great for us. There is only 1 bathroom and its right off the kitchen so there was a good bit of waiting on the bathroom with a group as large as ours but thats our fault for not looking at how many bathrooms. Overall, it was a great weekend, I loved all of the little touches through the house of the owners, perfect location, and I would definitely stay here again.

Girls Weekend 2020
It was great. Loved the enclosed porch. Breeze from lake felt good. We spent the most time there just chilling out and talking. Just what we needed.

Short Family vacation
Excellent location, beach was being worked on so not much fun there. Kid's enjoyed all the entertainment on the strip. Walking distance. Little pricey but most enjoyable.

3/5 Okay

Honestly -didn't feel it was as described....
One reason we chose this place b/c it was advertised as having access to a private beach. However, we were disappointed b/c instead of finding a "private beach to collect sea glass" we found mud, a steep drop off to Lake Erie, and heavy machinery working to prevent erosion-there is no beach. Also, don't see how this place was "newly remodeled" as most of furniture was extremely old. Bathroom is almost unusable -extremely small and I don't know how more than 4 people would manage with this bathroom. It's a very old house with a mixture of old antique-y retro pieces covered with fabrics and/or painted. Just not what I expected and didn't feel it was a good value for location and place.
