"This is a fantastic location. Nice, quiet, and plenty of room to roam around. If the weather would have been a little more favorable, we would have enjoyed spending more time outdoors. But, overall, it was great. The host is top notch and VERY accommodating. Im sure we will be back in the near future."

"Our family had a wonderful vacation at M&D's Lakeshore Bliss! After visiting the NC Zoo, this was a perfect location to extend our family fun with great water views and plenty of outdoor and indoor amenities. We especially enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and lounging on the screened-in porch. "We really enjoyed staying at the Tar Heel House. It was just what we were looking for on our long weekend getaway with friends and family. It’s nestled back in the woods which gives you the feeling of being in the mountains. Every room in the house offered amazing views of the lake. Easy access putting the boats in at the marina.
