Well maintained property. Great staff. Common areas could use a bit more upkeep and renovations, like carpets in the common areas etc. Fitness center need’s attention, there are equipment that’s broken which could cause injury if not repaired.

The property has a good curbside appeal but daughter first thing saw a cockroach on the wall and then we went to the pool the bridge was padlocked so walked around to find roaches in the pool. People in parking lot trucks open drinking beer and listening to their music. Multiple people just standing by car not feeling family safe there at all. Homeless across street screaming at themselves. This was the back building not sure if the front building was any better. Never had an experience in Best Western like this. Was very disappointed

The hotel was not updated but the bed was the BEST bed I have ever slept on! The hotel had an iron fence around the entire property which was good as behind the hotel there seemed to be a lot of homeless activity. The staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful.

It was so clean, fresh, and neat. It is right across from the Bakersfield train station, and very handy to break up a long trip with a night's rest. The room was in excellent condition.
