Easter Weekend, arrived on Good Friday 2pm to be told to go back at 3pm, which was the proper check-in time. We were allowed to leave bags and took the opportunity to explore area. Got back at 3pm to face a queue of guests waiting to check in and only 1 person on desk. When we got to speak to teh person on the desk we were told that our check in details have not come through, but she had all our info, asked for payment and asked us to wait and that she would get back to us. We went to the bar and ordered a drink, waited for approx 45 mins before heading back to the desk to find out what was the delay. At this point she said all was OK and gave us the room entry card. Room was of good size and clean, bathroom was also clean although it would have been better to have glasses instead of plastic cups. Bed was comfortable. Room view was to the street, which was fine. The hotel is well situated and has a few nice family restaurants near by. Breakfast was good and staff were welcoming, helpful and bright. Spa/Swimming Pool was a bit of a hit and miss, we did not see anybody attending it, the gym is fairly tired and in need of new equipment. The Pool is good and big enough to exercise as well as just enjoy a splash. The jacuzzi is also of good size and enjoyable. THe Sauna is good, but could do with a bit of aroma. The Steam Room was nice, but was not working all the time. The bar was also decent and it seem to be popular for afternoon tea. Parking is NOT FREE.

Excellent location, fantastic staff however as it's and old building floors creek, was very noisey. I wouldn't return as I prefer more Modern hotel, bed small, could hardly move in bathroom and tv in a ridiculous location. Breakfast average, pool small. Was very clean.

Last minute booking turned out to be a hit. The non sea view family room had a great view of the sea and was really spacious. Easy to get food any time from hotel restaurant. Make sure to get breakfast included
