"This is a lovely place to stay with with bright clean and comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included and offered a good selection. There was waitress service and the dining lounge was pleasant. My only reservation is that there is no emergency phone number at night should guests need to contact staff but overall I would be happy to use this hotel again."

Stayed for 3 days. The beds were comfortable and the room was neat. Would have liked a fan but other than that I can’t complain. Breakfast was very good and the staff was excellent. Would stay again.

Beautiful hotel, with fantastic gardens, exceptional rooms & service. We were lucky enough to have a large room on the third floor with gorgeous views of the gardens & hills in the distance.

Lovely property, a bit too far for me from the center of Bath, through an area that did not feel quite safe later in the evening. Otherwise, a lovely property, good value for the cost

I never do reviews but felt as if I had to since my wife and I had such an amazing stay at this hotel. Perfect location to walk to all the sites in Bath. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brocks Guest House. The Managers, including Marta were very kind and explained the features of the area (attractions or places of interest) and told us if there was anything we needed to let them know-The Brocks House which is situated in an average neighborhood gives a traveler a "taste" of being a local for a period of time. The room was impeccably clean & the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a home cooked meal (breakfast)- egg omelet with toast & hot...

The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. After a long overnight flight from the US, we were delighted to be greeted by the friendly staff upon our arrival. Having a parking spot was key, and staff members kindly parked our car on arrival in the small garage and removed it when we departed as we were still getting used to the narrow lanes and left-side of the road driving. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and we had a sunny bay window looking out on to the road. We could walk to all of Bath's main attractions, and even...

I absolutely loved this hotel and would return in a heartbeat. This is the place to go if you want to feel pampered and taken care of. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home. Their breakfast menu is amazing. The food is delicious and beats many of the cafes in the neighborhood. Their location is great- they are walking distance from everything, but still located in a quiet street where you can avoid too many tourists.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Gainsborough. You honestly couldn't ask for a better location. It's just a block from the square and an easy 10 min walk from Bath Spa train station, so getting around the city was effortless. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout my stay.
The one small downside of being so central was some noise, though that was probably due to where my room was located. If you're a light sleeper, it may be worth requesting a...
