“I booked the rental on less than 24 hours notice. The owner was terrific. She communicated clearly beforehand, had great information about the area waiting in the space, and leaving was very easy too. She even reached out to see if I needed to extend by a day. This is located midway between Eureka and Arcata and was very convenient. The kitchen had everything I needed and everything was clean and comfortable. I hope to return sometime. ”

“I was excited to stay in Hotel Arcata based on reviews and Expedia's rating of "Very Good". I always love staying in beautiful, old hotels. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed. Upon arrival I was unnerved by number of homeless people hanging out on the sidewalk near the hotel. I would not have felt safe walking in this area by myself. Upon entering the hotel, the lobby was tidy but well worn. The Staff was helpful but distracted by the phone. Parking is an issue here. You can only park……
