"Barbara's chalet was amazing! The view from the the porch is breathtaking. Barbara and her husband were extremely friendly and attentive. We stayed in the chalet for 4 weeks and loved every minute of it! The walk up from the train station is pretty steep and was quite the cardio workout, but after a few days we got the hang of it. The chalet is off the beaten path and has very little vehicle traffic so it was a very peaceful vacation. We loved every minute of it!"

"Beautiful apartment in a great chalet building, less than 10mins walk from Grindelwald train station. Epic views of the mountains from the large balcony, it was hard to stop looking out of the windows. The apartment was very well equipped and decorated. Lovely bathroom with a great shower. Bus station is down the road but bus service stops at 7 pm It’s on a steep hill, no problem for us but should be considered. Didn’t feel kitchen was well-stocked: no frying pan, no salt/pepper. Make sure to stock up on basics like coffee pods and oil for cooking."

"We really enjoyed the peaceful quiet & the view from our deck was phenomenal, loved hearing the cow bells in the morning & in the evening. The water that was running constantly from the spouts in Ernen was so good & cold! Our accommodations was really nice & clean & we have to thank our host for allowing us to stay an extra day @ a reasonable price, we enjoyed the place so much we weren’t ready to leave, thank you Nicole, we hope to return again."

"The accommodation was satisfactory but looking out onto a very nearby wall, the room was gloomy and dark. All accommodation in Grindelwald is very expensive and this was priced at the low budget end. Seems if you want a room with half-decent view you have to pay a lot more."
