It is surrounded by native vegetation and wildlife. While you are having breakfast, you can often see a family of deer grazing just outside the dining room. On our drive to town, we also came across a family of wild turkeys. There is a profound sense of calm and solitude. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained. There is a large deck just outside the room we stayed in, and at night we could see the stars. The hosts, Rebecca and Mike are very welcoming and made us feel at home. The guests were also very friendly. It was Thanksgiving holiday, and Rebeca gave us her signature sangria, which was the best I have ever tried, and I know how to make a good sangria. It is a great place to get away from the city, relax, and visit the nearby national parks. I highly recommend it." One of the chairs had a exposed rusty nail that my wife did not notice until she sat down and cut her leg. When we went to the area that the swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna are located we were very disappointed to find an empty pool, and non operational hot tub and sauna. The most disappointing situation was we were not notified of a water boil advisory in a timely manner.. This situation although out of the property managements control was in my opinion not handled properly, and could have caused health problems..
