“My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at Tern Cottage. It was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a longer stay (washing machine was particularly useful). We also had mid stay housekeeping which we were very impressed with. The location of the Cottage is extremely close to all the shops, seafront, park and train station. Any queries we had were dealt with very promptly by the owner Kristin. She was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend a stay here whether short or……

“Accommodation was fine, clean and had hardly any issues. But just a few comments. We are both in our mid 70's and my wife having had recent back surgery had a lot of difficulty climbing and descending 4 flights of very narrow stairs. Even I had trouble with them and I do not have big feet but I had to go down sideways. I am surprised they meet building standards. Could definitely do with a printed welcome pack in the room to get guests started with the amenities, there were no instructions for……

“The Boat House is a perfect place to relax with lovely views over the countryside. This was our second stay and would certainly book again.”

It was good to have a table and chairs on the decked area overlooking grassed space, where my grandson could play. Good location, near Fort Victoria and Colwell Bay and a short drive from the shops in Freshwater.”
