Quaint cottage in White Horse Park, Berlin, Maryland (Worcester County, off the Saint Martin River). 2 BR. 1 BA. Accommodates 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. Safe, family friendly gated community with a clubhouse and large swimming pool. Cable TV. 10 miles to the Ocean City beaches and two convenient golf courses nearby (River Run and Ocean Pines). Full kitchen. Fully furnished. Air conditioned. Please note that linens and towels are not supplied. We are exploring options to supply linens and towels in a safe and efficient way, but as of now renters will need to bring their own linens and towels.

Location was good for our needs (working in ocean pines), but no WIFI, no towels, no linens (and, at the time we reserved, vague language about both, that appears to have been cleared up on the listing now). No toilet paper on check-in, coffee supplies limited. My listing info had "contact host for wi-fi", at which point i was informed "no wifi". All of which is fine, it had a functioning refrigerator and stove for meals, but compared to other options in the area (when available) this one didn't have much to offer.

Great home just far enough outside of Ocean City
Great location! It's about a ten minute drive from Ocean City, so there's very little traffic, and all of the local amenities are easily accessible. The home is small, but there's still plenty of room to spread out. No wifi, though this wasn't a problem for us. Cell service is good. Private neighborhood includes a spacious swimming pool. Only house issue was a coffee pot that hadn't been cleaned (old, wet grounds were still inside), so we had to purchase coffee elsewhere instead of using what we'd brought. Bathtub had a clog which we fixed.

Nice quiet getaway
This place was perfect for our family. Quite gated community with wonderful neighbors. Only issues were that the place needs some upgrades. It was a bit dirty. Rugs are very stained and one of the pieces of furniture was falling apart. Other than those things it was great. Definitely recommend and will return.

The cottage was clean & comfortable with whimsical seaside decor. It has air conditioning, comfortable beds, good shower, living room, & pleasant kitchen. There is a community laundromat and great swimming pool. This is an ideal location for a peaceful retreat.

Was okay
There were stains on the furniture, rugs and carpet. The shower curtain rod was not attached to the wall, so when opening or closing shower curtain the rod would fall down. The curtain rod fell off the wall when opening the curtain in the smaller bedroom, when I went to reattach to wall found it was only held into wall by a small nail. Bench at dining table was broken so we had to sit on coolers that we had brought along, because we did not want to break the bench further. Decor was dated and cluttered. Community/neighborhood was great. Loved the pier! Homeowner easy to communicate with and responded to messages in a timely manner.

Quiet, family oriented-not as clean as I would like
The location of the house was so nice. It wasn't too far from attractions, but quiet at night and safe for my toddler. The house was not as clean as I'd hoped. At first glance, everything was nice and tidy, but the fridge door had grease on it, and the stove was dirty. The light switches had not been wiped down in a very long time, and had brown stains that we wiped clean. Thankfully we brought our own Lysol wipes. I was hoping, since Covid-19 is a huge concern, there would be more precautions taken to ensure cleanliness. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and the owner was helpful.

Quiet community near the bay.
We rented this little cottage primarily because we wanted to be close to Ocean Pines, where our friends were staying and away from Ocean city crowds. The community is about a mile or so from Ocean Pines, and you can enter from one of the back streets near the bay. The community is gated, quiet, quaint, clean and well Kept, mostly retired folks seemed to live or visit. It’s small, with prefab homes on small lots, but it has a nice size pool, a playground and a marina on the bay, all walking distance from the cottage. The pictures on the site are accurate and the cottage even feels a little bigger inside than pictured. It felt like someone’s home, with their mementos and pictures, and had everything we needed. We were a couple With a teenager, so there was plenty of space. The owner was very responsive, and we had no issues checking in and out. The cottage has a narrow cement patio on the left of the house, and a small grassy backyard, that backs to a fence and a boat storage lot. We spent most of our time on our friends backyard grilling and at the beach, so it worked for us. It’s conveniently located about 20 mins from Assateague National Park, and Ocean City beaches. The price was fair and We would stay there again.

Cute little home
We stayed here and it was a wonderful time. Especially for the price, the house was great! The neighborhood was peaceful with lots of bonuses. There was a pier to fish or crab from, and the free pool was amazing with minimal crowds!

Very nice place.
The property was just as listed. It was very nice and clean. The pool and playground were fun as well. Not really a yard but that didn't bother us in anyway. This was a very nice property especially for the cost. I would both recommend and stay here again.
