"The Niles Hotel is a boutique hotel located in the Sultanhamit district within a ten minute walk to the Grand Bizarre. The rooftop terrace provides a great view of Bosporus. This was my first visit to Istanbul and the Niles was a good choice."
"Very noisy stay. Could hear people out on the street up till 3am. The first photo they have used of the terrace is a lie. The terrace was covered in and not like that at all. The receptionist left a very bad taste in my mouth. He was rude and unhelpful. First gave us a room with no air-con. Had to demand for a room change. Would not stay again. "
"It was nice for the price I payed, there are two hotels in the same area, one has the pool and the other has the breakfast. The area might look sketchy but I had no problems. It is located near the tourist areas. "

"I stayed at the Swissotel many years ago to attend the Turkish F1 GP. I very much enjoyed my stay so had no hesitation to book this the hotel for a short break for my daughter and her friend who was also celebrating her birthday. I requested a bottle of champagne to be put in their room on arrival. Their flight was very late and they arrived at the hotel at about 3pm. Having checked in online beforehand (very useful) they got their key and were very pleased to find the champagne on ice waiting for them. Typical daughter stayed up until 4pm drinking the champagne and enjoying the view of the Bosphorus. The next day the hotel had recognized that it was her friend's birthday and they brought a special breakfast pancake at breakfast with a candle. All day the staff kept bringing cakes and treats which was so nice. All the staff were so friendly and got to know my daughter and her friend very closely. They loved the roof bar and although open to the general public the hotel staff made sure they always had a table. The pool was amazing as were the cocktails they had from the pool bar. I collected my daughter from Heathrow and she said it was the best holiday she had ever had and was so nice she wanted to go back asap. I was so pleased the hotel lived up to the my expectations and there is no doubt both my daughter and myself and her mother will be visiting again. Thanks to all the staff for making my daughter's stay so enjoyable. "

"The property is clean and safe. It is charming with traditional decor. The breakfast was wonderful. 24 hours coffee and tea were available. The staff were extremely helpful. They kept our luggage’s in the hotel for 10 days white we travelled to the south even though we were not returning to this hotel after our vacation. The area is so close to all the historical sites and Grand Bazar. I strongly recommend this hotel. "

"I was very impressed with the hotel and the staff. The room was small, but it was well appointed. The location is within walking distance to everything I wanted to see, but the streets around it are very narrow and heavily trafficked, but I suppose that is to be expected in Old Town."
