Upon check in I was informed that they had me down for a king no-smoking but had requested a smoking room. I told the woman at the check in counter and she said they didn't have any smoking king rooms but had a two queen smoking room. I accepted the room even though I wouldn't need the extra bed. Not really a big deal but I thought since I had booked it in advance it wasn't going to be a problem. Overall the stay was great. Was down there for a bachelor party and had a really great time. Staff was friendly, room was pretty clean, and overall the casino, bars, and restaurants keep us all entertained. Definitely plan on going back again soon.

Exterior Ramada sign needs to be fixed. Has been out for many months according to the hotel staff. It is very dark at night and you do not see the entrance to the hotel at night. It is located on a very busy street and can cause an accident.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and bed comfortable. Had an enjoyable time. The only negative was that after an wonderful meal at the restaurant on site "Cora's", we found out that someone either our waitress or another staff member added an additional $22 to our bill and that was after we personally give our tip at the table. Working to resolve that manner now.

could not have made a better choice (that i know of) for overnighting in BSL. the build-back along Beach Blvd is vigorous and engaging and thus far without an element of disneyfication... the Bay Town Inn premises are wonderfully fresh; in 9-15 the buildings feel like stepping into a new domicile. the veranda view of the bay in the evening is soothing and simultaneously exciting (yeah i know, i don't get it either). as i was in BSL only for a bivouac, there really wasn't time to explore the town tho it appears to be charming and will probably give pretty Ocean Springs a run for its money among a certain niche clientele. i expect to return to BSL and the Bay Town Inn before autumn as run its course... props to owner and staff for the hospitality.

There are just so few options in BSL and I chose Super 8, knowing we wouldn't be in the room much and just needed a place to sleep. It's very much like old motels - you have to wonder what's really in the carpet...but I was happily surprised at the updated decor in the room. Beds and other areas of the room looked clean and ended up to be pretty comfortable. We did throw some things in the fridge and it even kept some things frozen in the freezer section and I was happy with that. When checking in it appeared they had breakfast but no one mentioned it to me. They were accommodating. My expedia reservation had me in a smoking room and they were nice enough to switch us to non-smoking even though it seemed like they were well booked. All in all it was a decent place to lay our heads and I'd probably stay there again.
