Had a very enjoyable stay. It was conveniently within walking distance of the ICC and Symphony Hall. Room was spacious and the facilities were excellent, good supply and choice of beverages in the room. Breakfast was excellent, the staff were really helpful and friendly especially as I was travelling with someone with a disability. If I was being super critical the service in the in house restaurant Leo’s during the afternoon was not the best but I would not let that deter me from staying again. An ideal base to explore the delights of Broad Street and the Gas Street Basin, convenient for attending the ICC and Symphony Hall. Short taxi ride from B’ham New Street station ( if you were young and fit I’m sure the walk wouldn’t be too arduous). All in all I would highly recommend staying here.

The fact you cannot pay cash is very disappointing. We were on the 16th floor and we went down to buy pop and water, had cash but left cards in room, we get there and no cash only card, not good. Also went for breakfast and sat on the right, to be told we can’t sit there as it’s now shut 9.35am, the section on the left was very busy and there was no clean table there that’s why went and sat in the right hand section. Dissatisfied

Hotel itself was beautiful. Very modern hotel room and to a high standard. Could not fault the room at all. Bathroom was lovely with rain shower head, heated towel rail etc. Only downfall was the man who served me on reception I found quite rude and unhelpful. Did not explain what facilities we could use and I was confused about the parking and he did not explain this well. Parking fee for 24 hours was expensive £16.50 per night. Area around the hotel was easy to get into the main part of the city as we used the tram.

The bar at night was so busy you had to queue for a drink. We gave up!! You couldn’t buy crisps after 10.00pm and they don’t serve glasses of wine. This was poor
