“We loved our stay here. The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the enclosed seating area at the front of each cabin, with fresh coffee provided, was a great place just to sit for a while.……

Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. “Gorgeous and unique property close to the Poas Nacional Park. The views were breathtakingly beautiful! We stayed in the Junior Dome and had a relaxing and zen like stay. The property was very cute and quiet in June. There was a nearby dog barking nonstop from a neighbor but not much you can do about that.”

“Hotel was fine however the noise from the planes was very loud and there were no local walkable shops or activities but both of these are expected from an airport hotel. It was very convenient for the airport”

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”

“Andres, the front desk agent, was pleasant, friendly and gave a warm welcome. The room was clean, spacious, had all the needed amenities. The rooms had good noise control and I enjoyed quiet restful periods Bed was comfortable and sheets smelled clean The pool had debris on the surface but it was windy. Would have liked to see it being removed occasionally. Breakfast was good and had a few options. The staff were amazing The shuttle service was exceptional and the drivers helpful. The gym……
