“I don’t want to type a lot and people don’t always like reading so I’ll keep this short and to the point. - restaurant was good, very small menu - room was gross - mold on the shower curtains. Green gunk on the shower wall. Mold along the edges of the floor next to the walls. Mold possibly (I’m not sure what it was but it was gross) next to the sink - towels provided were dirty (but they were prompt on getting us new ones upon asking) - construction resulted in one of the pools being closed,……

“We had an amazing stay at the Rainforest Retreat. Theodocios, our assistant at the Rainforest Retreat was an excellent guide and his wife, Francelia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner that was included with our stay. She also does laundry. We stayed one night there in the Eco-Pods and the 2nd night at the Chaa Creek Lodge. Docios shuttled us back and forth and provided excellent guidance.”

“It wasn't a bad stay but it wasn't what I expected. Instead of a room in the main hotel, we were upgraded to a cabin, in the back of the property where it was so dark I drove into the concrete septic block! No damage fortunately. And I guess back there was better than being up front because of a loud party on a Monday night. At least the room was clean, the bathroom was huge, and the bed was comfortable for the price. Unlikely to return.”
