"For the price, I thought they could put some plates, cutlery, etc. in the room. The coffee maker did not work. In fairness, I did not notify them of this, except to leave a note when I left. Ditto for the freezer, which needed defrosting and would not close, overcooling the refrigerator. "

"This was very clean cute stay."

"The place is nice and cozy. Its ok for travelling, but the price for 1 night is just overrated."

"My wife and I loved our short stay at The Lorca. It is nice quiet location and it was convenient to our dinner cruise on Raquette Lake."

"The place was nice but, very small for a family of four. The shower was super small and the floor in-front of it felt like it might cave in. The beds were nice and the coffee was nice. We didn’t use the fire pit but, that was nice as well. It is very rustic like a lot of places in the area. But, we’re able to do what we needed to do."

"Beautiful view of the lake. Easy check in and out. Would have liked info in lobby about hiking areas and an easier way to contact staff if needed"

"The walls are thin, shower very small. The bed was awesome! The atmosphere wàs great."

"I wish we had been told ahead of time that the Jacuzzi tub and hot tub were both out of order. There was also something questionable (dried vomit?) on the comforter of one of the bunk beds. There were check-in issues on the host’s end that made the lead-up to our stay a bit harried. Overall, though, the kids loved it and we enjoyed our time there."

"We had such a wonderful time! The location is so peaceful and scenic and the drive to 13th lake for swimming was just a few minutes. Absolutely hope to stay again!"
