Contactless check in is/was inconvenient. I don't read or answer emails/texts while on vacation. Lone housekeeper and a guest helped with my check in, I than discovered how to gain access to room. Room was okay, bathroom was fairly newly redone, Main floor had a hump and was spongy. Maybe owners should take a better walkthrough with people that know things. Contactless not for everyone. No one to help out if there is an issue. Phone number and call is not same as face to face. Call me old school cause I am. Served the purpose for one night.

Great location plenty of space very clean and comfortable!

My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of magical! Before arriving, the owner Kelly, sent us a "Perfect Placid" list of the areas attractions with things to do and restaurant recommendations. So cool! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed - Kelly and her staff greeted us warmly and offered a quick tour pointing out the cozy common areas and sharing a bit of the Inn's history. The vintage accents and handcrafted furniture made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Our room (Kate Smith) was sooo comfortable, mixing rustic charm and beautiful modern amenities! Our dining experience was spectacular with seasonal offerings that support local farms and vendors. Absolutely delicious and everyone made us feel like family! The location is just minutes from everything, yet it feels like a secluded retreat. We sat on the porch and played cribbage with our wine and handcrafted cocktails. So fun and relaxing! We also visited the village shops, Mirror Lake, and biked the beautiful Adirondack Trail. Our whole trip was simply amazing... and too short! Bottom line, The Stagecoach has historic charm, 5-star dining, and a location that perfectly balances convenience with tranquility. It will warm your soul. We definitely plan to stay again!! A lovely spot, even though it's squeezed in between the main road and other properties. The rooms are small but elegant in a rustic way. The main draw is the lakefront area, which is very picturesque and relaxing to hang out at. I also enjoyed taking a kayak out onto the lake, which is convenient and available free of charge (also canoes and paddleboards). The place isn't cheap, and it's a short drive away from the main part of town. But the overall experience was excellent.
