“First room offered had powerful odours (pets?) and not acceptable. Alternative room was fine although all odd numbered rooms suffer road noise in morning rushour. Breakfast very nice for level of hotel.”

“Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed.”

“What a gem! Stone Manor Boutique Inn has so much charm. The inn is filled with so many high quality details. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful with so many outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh baked cookies were provided during our stay. “Warning: A LOT of steps! The guest rooms are on several levels—definitely not handicap-friendly. We have done several B&Bs over the years and always enjoyed great breakfasts and meeting the innkeepers and other guests. While breakfast was good and made to order, the “charm” we’ve enjoyed in the past was missing. The decor was very eclectic—no real theme other than filling up a very large facility. Persons in the area for wine tasting probably feel differently as this seems to be the only……

“Room can use a better clean up. Bathroom, towels, and pillow/sheets. Needs to be clean better. No insect/roach, so good. Lights, microwave, and fridge all works. Staff are friendly and patient. 7.5/10 Would stay again.”

“The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. The staff prepared a delicious communal breakfast for the 3 couples staying that night along with us. Great for pets -- they have a Frenchie, a farm cat……
