“Villa Maud was the most charming experience my wife and I could have asked for. Surrounded by gorgeous works of art, lush scenery, nestled comfortably in between multiple wineries. If you are looking for a place to escape to or a place centrally located near Loudoun’s burgeoning wine scene, so you can hit several in a short period, this is your ticket. Maud is friendly welcoming accommodating thoughtful. And she makes a fantastic breakfast that you can order. If you’re looking for something off……

“All good, very secluded. Beautiful cabin. All things needed for your stay. ”

“Not horrible. A bit pricey for the quality of the unit (old, dated) but the view was awesome. Breakers blew several times. Bedding was good. Hottub was good. ”

“Beautiful house in a beautiful location. The house was very good for relaxing and hanging out with old friends with its open concept. Bedrooms were on the small side but functional as were the bathrooms. The kitchen was very nice and a nice coffee bar was provided with a Nespresso machine and milk frother.”

“We only spent one night here because my wife had training in the town of Purcellville. However, we were treated like family. Kenny, the general manager, was very kind, welcoming and attentive. He personally prepared our breakfast. Noé, the caretaker was wonderful and always available to us. Beyond that, this is one of the most beautiful, scenic properties I have ever experienced. You have to see it for yourself. Highly recommended!”

“The house was very clean and we loved the look of the house inside and out. The house had everything we needed. The owners even brought us blow up mattresses to help our kids be more comfortable and in the same room. They also left more linens for us as well, very kind! The yard was great so our kids could play outside. They even got to play with the neighbor kids in their yard. Great spot to be around everyth The only issues we had was that the water was not getting hot in the downstairs bath……

“Overall our stay was very nice. We had two families spending a few days getting away from the city. The third floor shower/tub was not working upon arrival but the plumber (who we did not know was coming) did repair this quickly. There was a bit of a fly problem on the third floor however bug killer was likely used just before our arrival, so there were 50 or so dying flies in the tub and around the toilet in the third floor bathroom, however there was not a fly flying in the house, so win win.……

“The temperature in the room was set up at 73° and the thermostat was locked. The attendant did not want to unlock it, and I had to demand the owner of the property to be called at which time the key for the box was found, and I was allowed to adjust the temperature in the room.”

“This is a beautiful property that was perfect for our girls weekend trip. We had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing time in the evening. We went to nearby Hillsborough Winery then came back to enjoy the hot tub and fire ring on the deck with a breathtaking view. It was clean and exactly as described!”
