Blue Water Explorers Tours

This is a boutique hotel, the owner, Kris, was onsite frequently while we were there to greet guests and to make sure everything was running smoothly day to day. The hotel is clean, has a great view of the ocean, there is a happy hour from 4pm to 5pm daily with all you can drink wine and beer complimentary, and a very nice large private beach front. There were some additonal fees that I was unaware of such as renting the cabanas/umbrellas/beach loungers on the private beach, the information on expedia made it seem like these were included in the daily resort fee in which they are not. 2 person cabanas were $35 and then $15/lounge chair to put under the cabana and this fee was from 10am to 5pm so for day. There is also a $20 additonal person fee/day of your stay, regardless of age of the person, we are a family of 5 so even if you book as a 4 person occupancy, they require a wristband at the hotel and you will be charged. Our stay there was nice, but if the resort fee had of included those additional perks I mentioned at no charge, it would have been better.
