Blue Water Marina Park Tours

Room was good for staying with our puppy. The ottoman was a little chewed up, but it is a dog room. Room was clean. The kitchenette was well stocked with mini fridge/freezer, microwave dishes, cups, hot plate and pans (though we didn’t really use much). Small sponge and dish soap was nice. The continental breakfast was basic with breads (English muffins, bagels, toast and blueberry/chocolate muffins), yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal and my husband’s favorite, the pancake machine! You just push a button and it makes 2 fresh pancakes! So much cleaner than the old waffle makers! Coffee, milk and juice. My only complaint is the doggy area is woefully insufficient. It’s a small rock area along the back of the parking lot with a teeny, tiny piece of turf in the middle of it. It was full of poop, which is gross and lots of broken glass, which is dangerous. No shaded or covered (come on, it’s Havasu!) even in October it was over 100 degrees! They should put cameras out there and charge people who don’t pick up their dog’s poop…at a minimum have staff clean it up, seeing as you gotta pay an extra $20 per night.

Staff is very friendly and informative. Rooms are clean. The whole family enjoyed the little putting greens, corn hole, pool and spa. They had special events planned for each day but we just didn’t have time to utilize them, we would if we go back again for a more leisurely weekend. Only “con” per se would be the $$$ deposit hold they put on your card. Maybe I just didn’t read the listing far enough to know to expect it but that was a surprise at check in for me. I have no concerns about getting it back, just wasn’t expecting it.

My room was clean and comfortable but definitely was due for a refurb. The desk chair looked like it had been found at Goodwill. The bedside lamp didn't work and had a dead incandescent bulb in it. Breakfast was good and included hot food.
