I was enjoying a solo staycation. The vintage layout of my room was superb. The staff ensured I had everything I needed while.enjoying my time. I visited both Chef's Palette, the property's restaurant, and the Rooftop Lounge, pool and bar, one word immaculate. The restaurant's layout was artistic and the food was great. The Rooftop Lounge, has the best scenic views as I enjoyed looking at the Dallas Skyline. The pool was great and clean. There was plenty of lounge area for guests to enjoy the FIFA games. I would highly recommend to others to visit Canvas Hotel Downtown. It will not disappoint.

Breakfast was not very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Had to wait for our defective safe to be replaced and lost 40 minutes of our plans.

Staff

We have stayed at quite a few hotels/inns in our lifetime, with this Fairfield Inn and Suites Cleburne being one of the worst. For one thing, the room's sheets had hair on them, not good. The room did not have any cups/glasses to use, nor did it have an icebucket. The worst part was the beditself, very uncomfortable, with poor quality pillows. I slept poorly as you can well imagine. The breakfast was weird; they served egg rolls instead of eggs. Obviously, I do not recommend this property.

This is a grand dame of a property. Large comfortable rooms that are clean and well maintained. Good value for your money. Sadly the surrounding area has deteriorated with a lot of unhoused individuals roaming the streets and sleeping on adjacent streets. We’ve always appreciated the spacious rooms which keeps us coming back
