“The room is too close to the highway and the noise is too loud.”

“Staff were very kind and friendly, room was clean...However, shower curtain was moldy, pool was broken, ice machines were both out of order. Two towels were in our room when we arrived, but every day after that we returned to our room to find one was taken. When we asked for a second, they quickly got one, but it was removed before we could use it the next morning.”

“Unfortunately, our room had a strong odor similar to mouse urine when the heater was turned on, which made our stay much less comfortable. The overall cleanliness of the room also was not what we expected. Also, there were not enough bath towels provided for everyone in our group to shower. When we requested additional towels, we were given a mix of floor mats, hand towels, and washcloths rather than bath towels. On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly during our stay.”

“I was only needing the room for about 8 hours because I was driving in from Houston for Orientation for my young one so we didn't get in until 1:30 am . The air was but it smelled of old cigarette smoke, the toilet seat was broken, the shower head was broken and there were dead beetle all over the floor and a spider in the ceiling and I actually paid $90 for 7 hours for this crap!”

“I had a terrible experience when fire ants crawled into my bed and onto my nightstand. When I called the front desk to report the incident, the manager was unapologetic and acted as if I was lying. However, they eventually came to my room and still even seeing the Ants not one I’m sorry”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angel’s Nest B&B. Built on the highest point in Parker County, this is a lovely Victorian home built in 1890s with vintage furnishings, but with up to date amenities. A/C, electricity, TV, etc. Comfy king size bed, delicious breakfast, clean, welcoming staff, wonderful wrap around porch perfect for sitting outside viewing for miles while enjoying a gentle breeze. Free parking on the property. ”

“While I understand this was a cheap motel, there were a few things I couldn’t get past. The exterior was horrible with tripping hazards that look to have been there for some time. The “residents”. The room looked like they had updated it but left unfinished. Missing trim. Dirty caulking. Patches on the walls. Door not closing all the way (but secure) and the bugs.”

“The pool was nasty and water smelled really bad. No clean pool towels and hampers and all trash cans we passed were full. No bedding or pillows for pull out couch. Asked but only got a pillow and handed me the pillow case to put on myself which was fine. Glad we had a couple of throws in the car. ”

“The room was so beautifully designed and decorated. We played games in the yard, walked around the property had amazing hand crafted drinks at the bar and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The TV had Roku, so when we finally went back to the room it was easy to watch from any streaming app. We woke up to breakfast at the door in a retro Stanley lunchbox with a thermos full of coffee. It was very clean and everyone that worked there was helpful and kind.”

“It was too cold in the room and almost every where. Temperature control was very difficult in the room and the system does not work pry.”
