Perfect easy-to-walk-to-everything location. AC was AWFUL, full blast or nothing & very noisy. Rooms don't have fridges so we had to pay $15 a night to "rent one." Friendly staff but didn't seem to know much about local sites & history of the area.

The atmosphere is quaint and the inn is located in an historic area with a small, cute, walkable town. A great place for history and literature buffs. The waitress staff is friendly and efficient and the food is good. Since the inn is historic, do not expect many modern amenities: walking up 2 flights of narrow stairs to get to your room, older and Loud air conditioners, no shelf in shower for toiletries…Still a great place to stay.

The hotel is part of history! I wish they would update a bit. Central Air- the bathroom was incredibly hot and too small with no storage. I had to put my toothbrush in the bedroom.

Everything was very original. Having an accident our 1st night, I wish it had an elevator. But we booked it for it's history. The bar was awesome, as was the restaurant. The decor was period, including the original floor. The stairs are very steep, which is expected for 18th century construction.

Very cool building. Beautiful area. In the center of multiple historic attractions. Room was great, but always humid/damp feeling. Coffee maker broken. Lobby coffee station poorly maintained. No cream. A few crumpled napkins. No lids. 2 days in a row.
