We had the most comfortable stay! The room was clean, the staff was friendly and responsive, and we were close to public transportation and plenty of convenience stores and restaurants. Temperature was perfect- we hope to stay there again if we travel to Boston!

The inn was a bit run down, but we felt safe and were pleased with the affordability. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet.
(The beds were made when we arrived.) The carpet was pretty gross. Grafitu on the wall art. Other than these things, the room was safe, comfortable, and quiet.

The Farrington Inn has a wonderful staff and is located near the Harvard Ave train stop. The room we stayed in had a private bathroom, kitchenette, and comfortable bed. It was a great place for the price! We would definitely stay there again!

Admittedly, the amenities were pretty slim compared to Motel 6, but the price and location made up for it! We had an early flight out of Logan and managed to get there quickly. Would definitely go back!

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing overall. While the staff at the reception desk were polite, friendly, and helpful during check-in, the condition of the property itself needs significant improvement. The room did not feel clean or well maintained. The bedsheets looked old and had visible stains, which immediately created a poor impression. The blinds were also broken, making the room feel neglected and uncomfortable. In general, the hotel had a sketchy atmosphere that did not feel very welcoming or relaxing. The biggest issue for me was the washroom situation. Having only one shared washroom per floor was already inconvenient, but the condition of it made the experience even worse. It clearly needs renovation and much better maintenance. I personally chose not to use the washroom during my stay because it did not appear clean or comfortable enough. Cleanliness is one of the most important things in any hotel, and unfortunately this property did not meet even basic expectations in that area. It is disappointing because the reception staff were genuinely nice and professional, and they tried to provide good service. However, friendly staff alone cannot make up for the poor condition of the facilities and rooms. Overall, this hotel could improve greatly with renovations, better cleaning standards, and more attention to maintenance. At the moment, I would not choose to stay here again unless major improvements are made.

Allston is a working class neighborhood with lots of students. There are a great selection of restaurants; especially Asian fare. So many great places to eat and explore. There is some urban blight and decay.

It has a ton of history and I felt safe sleeping in my room. I arrived late because I had a flight next morning and it was the only somewhat affordable hotel. Reception was very kind and actually upgraded me for my 1 night stay. Recommend if you need something close to airport & don’t mind sleeping in something historical .

Great room for the price

This place was awesome! The suite I stayed in was huge, and I couldn't believe how nice the kitchen was, and there was even a washer and a dryer. The other occupants were quiet, and respectful of privacy and shared spaces. The price was great, and it was amazing to be able to stay within walking distance of so many great music venues and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was just what we needed. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and safe. The airconditioner worked well and the there were towels and toiletries that we needed. Be advised that it is a walk up but that was no issue for us. Yes, it is old but it is clean and safe.

Bed, pillows & linens were comfortable! No towels in the room. Never asked about options, so be prepared or ask ahead. Staff was helpful and parking was excellent! The price was right, and the area great for dining, walking, though don’t expect the Ritz. If the property were more posh, the price would be too! There are very delicious options, Asia, Ethnic, Breakfast restaurants. Enjoy!

I stayed in room 114 for a very long time the staff is the best the place is quaint not too much noise the neighborhood is dope I say the best bang for your buck in the city no bed bugs I barely even seen a fly love this place.
