“A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were in room 3 which had a challenging set of stairs, no lift due to nature of the historic building. Very atmospheric place bang in the middle of the town great access on foot to all amenities. A 10 minute stroll to the Castle and the excellent car park. Breakfast was first class value. The room was spacious excellent shower and roll top bath. Bar facilities very good small outside beer garden. Plenty of Sky Ports TV screens in the bar, Saturday night there is a...

“Fairfield house was well situated close to Warkworth and the beach. The hosts were excellent, very attentive with lovely little touches like freshly made cakes left each day and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous breakfasts. Highly recommend.”

“Travelled with 2 puppies was worried about how things would be. Didn’t need to be worried as dog friendly rooms available & staff very accommodating. Meals served all day & a good variety to choose from. Have booked for close family to stay later in the year.”

“On arriving seeing all the lorries parked up was not sure what to expect. Stairs up to first floor rooms. Room was a surprise! very clean and plenty of room and a sea view! also surprising was how quiet it was. Did not hear traffic at all and it is on a very busy road.We ate in both the cafe and the resteraunt and the food was great! The staff were very friendly which was a bonus.It is a good base to visit Bamburgh and Lyndisfarne,both were well worth a day out.”
