“This was a great place to stay on a secluded lake. Highly recommend staying here if you like seclusion and peace and quiet. The kids loved the kayaks, paddle board and canoe. The second loft is not made for adults. ”

“We were so amazed at the cleanliness of the cabin and the beautiful location on Chemo Pond. The cabin was well stocked with linens and paper products. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We were close to both Bar Harbor and Bangor and spent a few days sightseeing. We bought live lobsters in Bangor and caught some fish in the pond so we made a seafood feast at the cabin. “I was very impressed by the cottage. Well stocked and very clean with thoughtful stocking of cookware, linens and even doggie bed, bowls and biscuits. We left our pooch at home but our dog would have been very comfortable at the cottage with all the dog friendliness. Owners are extremely personable, easy to reach and responsive. We loved seeing their 2 black labs every day and visiting with them. The beach is nice and clean. Plenty of kayaks, canoes with life jackets etc. Highly recommend...

“Had a great time at the Cabin .The views of the lake were amazing. Had a good time fishing off the dock , plus had some fishing poles and kayaks on site. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, slept great and enjoyed the hot tub. Fire pit was nice but Maine has some big ol mosquitoes . One of our favorite memories was seeing a small black bear cross the road on the way back from town one evening. “Great cabin with your own private beach area and dock Out favorite part was the lakeside fire pit.. it was so relaxing to enjoy fires at night while watching the lake Very clean lake but super rocky We had a blast swimming, fishing and kayaking Owners very attentive to needs but also allowed privacy Short walk to beach area (uneven ground) may be tricky for some but we all had no issues ”

“The lodge was beautiful! Such a peaceful, quiet getaway. We saw so much wildlife, and thoroughly enjoyed being disconnected for a few days. The lodge has everything you need.... just make sure to bring the food you'll need for your stay. There are a few country stores within 15-30 minutes, but no grocery stores. My kids loved kayaking, fishing, making smores, and laying in the hammock. We made several say trips to Acadia, and also found some hiking trails nearby. We hope to return soon!”

“The house was very good for multi generation family gathering. Good size living room and very spacious dining room and kitchen area. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. I chose this property for the lake views and the hot tub, and it was perfect for that! It was a cool, rainy weekend but we had plenty of space inside to gather.”

“This property was perfect for our Maine getaway with our family of 6! The loft space and playroom nook was so much fun for our kids. We enjoyed the quiet porch and lake/yard activities in the mornings and evenings. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked-loved the added touches of blueberry jam and breakfast pancake mix!
