“Absolutely wonderful stay! My husband and I, and our two sons, made some great memories. The location was perfect. Very peaceful - we loved the sound of the loons! The cabin was so cozy and nice. Very clean. We appreciated the use of the kayaks and canoes. The boys loved fishing and swimming. On a rainy day we watched movies and played games - all of which were provided. The outdoor shower was a fun addition. We will definitely be telling people about our stay. Thank you again for an amazing……

“The property in Surry was just perfect for our use. The property is one of 3 manufactured homes on this property. The rental was clean, comfortable and perfect for the two of us. It is located on a quiet road and very drivable to many sightseeing attractions in the immediate area, Acadia NP being one of them. The AC came in handy during our stay as the weather was warm. The basic kitchen was good for us as we ate out every night. The washer and dryer were a good perk also. Overall a very good……

“We were so amazed at the cleanliness of the cabin and the beautiful location on Chemo Pond. The cabin was well stocked with linens and paper products. “Property was neat and clean. Provided with napkins tissues toiletries towels detergent basic kitchenette etc. it is located 10mins from Ellsworth and about 50 mins from acadia. Has bunk bed, small bed, futon and queen Size mattress. Has washer and dryer, which means reuse more and less to pack. It gets very dark in the night and can do star gazing. Overall worth it.”

“Jenkins Beach is not very big and if you stay here, then it'll be harder for me to get in. I'm going back because it's by far the nicest place in the area. It has the nicest beach on any lake in the area, and all the water toys to make a great vacation. The cabins are SPOTLESS, and nicer than our friends' places who live on Green Lake. The screened in porches were a surprise treat I didn't even know I was missing! And for the one day that got above 80, there was even a/c. ”

“This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. "The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient."
