Bridgewater Vacations from $325

The room and decor are very dated (including those horrible florescent bulbs that emit the worst share of light possible), but the room was clean, the beds were super comfy, and the water pressure was great. Also, during the whole weekend the keycard system was done, so we could only get in via a staff member opening our room for us. This was very inconvenient, and it led to people propping open outside doors since you couldn't open them with a keycard, which felt unsafe.

Lovely historic hotel with a great location and all the amenities. Walking distances to so many restaurants, shops, the Shakespeare Theatre, and other attractions. Breakfast bar was delicious and had so many choices. Only downside was it was short staffed and there was a wait for a table.

This hotel is attractive and has comfortable rooms. However, it seemed severely understaffed. The pool was out of towels, leaving my kid shivering outside it while I found someone who could get more towels. At breakfast, they were completely out of bowls. My kids ate their cereal off plates. Then they ran out of forks. A patron asked a staff member if more were coming and she said “by the time they are ready, we’ll be closed.” Important to note that breakfast closes at 9 - seems very early for a hotel in a vacation area.

I requested walk in shower and did nt get one

The resort is very family friendly! Many parks, pools, so many activities! We had deer outside of our place daily it was great! The views were amazing. The only bad review is the cleanliness. I mean the walls were dirty, many cobwebs/dust. The floor needed a vacuum when we got there. A dead roach welcomed me when we walked into one of the rooms. They have a checkout checklist of things you need to do. I completely understand cleaning up after selves but it would be nice if the resort would make sure these villas are clean!
