Buchanan Chalets

Very nice lodging across the street from a riverside park and walking trail.

Very nice hotel although immediate hotel surroundings not that attractive.

Beautiful location, comfortable room, but…. Bring ear plugs for train all night

The property is well tucked away in the wilderness of Bear Mountain State Park. It's designed to blend with the surrounding nature. The hotel has very rustic look and feel but in a good way. The only two complaints I have about the property and it's very minor is that 1) the walls are extremely thin and noise from...

I like the castle and 1800s feel with the luxury of today. I would like to know more of the history of the building.

Beautiful hotel.

The Beds are pheonomal

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and ready to go when we arrived.

The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Location was convenient.

I little outdated and too close to the highway, you can hear the cars

Lovely period home. Owners were friendly, courteous and informative. Breakfast was delicious. Overall stay was very enjoyable and would stay again.

Great say!

Overall our stay at MTK was very positive. Generally staff was responsive and friendly but not our experience in the restaurant. Service person barely greeted us, sat looking at his phone, apparently not checking on our food for which we waited a very long time. He made it quite clear that he did not enjoy his job and did not want to be there. However, we definitely would stay at MTK again without hesitation.
