DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet

8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, and food was great at the hotel restaurant. I am deducting one star because of the pool situation. We booked the room as a staycation just to get away locally with the kids and use a pool. While there the whole time there is a staff member watching everything you do in the pool. This was not a lifeguard. You need a key card to get into the pool area so I don't understand why there has to be somebody watching us the entire time like they are security. There was a nice couple visiting from Canada who were reprimanded numerous times for things like letting their kids eat some candy at the table 10 feet from the pool. People want to enjoy a day at the pool without having somebody sitting there watching every move we make. Hire a lifeguard if that is the case."
