Buck Meadows Vacations from $727

We've stayed here several times in the past and this is the first time we've had any complaints. The staff is great and the room clean. The issues we had were: 1. Poor water pressure in shower. 2. Poor TV service - from glitches to no service at all (luckily Netflix worked but had to keep restarting as it would just "pause" every few minutes). 3. Fireplace did not work. 4. Outside of bathtub needs attention: caulking looks sloppy.

Be prepared for noisy people coming through the front door late in the evening. Bring ear plugs.

Plus side; Very modern room Easy to self check in with key coded doors. Wonderful toilets with heated seats and bidet. Nice snack/drink selection in common pantry Great Location Minus side: Uncomfortable mattress and pillows Skylight...you wake up when the sun rises Room counter and bedside table very small Bathroom light comes on when you open the door. Window between bathroom and bed area wakes your partner. Overall a quirky but pleasant stay

This hotel is considered 5-star, but it acts like a 3-star, especially the pool area. It's just really a country club that happens to have hotel rooms because there's no regard for the hotel guests. The chairs are pressed together, literally pressed together. There's no regard for personal space. People have kids' classes going on all day long, and today, to top it off, they have construction. The room smelled musty, and I'll have to say that the food in the dining room, although it has a lovely setup on the balcony outside, is very expensive and beyond mediocre. The place, in my opinion, is way overpriced. At $500 a night,I expect a lot more, and I've seen a lot more for $500 a night. I'm surprised that it gets booked so often because, at one point, somebody's got to step back and say, "Enough is enough."
