"Although the property is a little way outside of Borovets, there is everything you need here from a swimming pool and mini supermarket to a cosy restaurant and regular shuttle service. The chalet itself is cosy and really well equipped and the views are amazing. The hosts could not be more helpful and accommodating and the staff on site are really friendly and helpful. Overall it makes a great option for larger groups and families."

" Liz was a fantastic host - setting up the two apartments to suit our group of 12 friends and family. She accommodated all our food preferences and timings and worked hard to keep us all happy. Before our trip she answered all our questions. She provided local advice and gave us lifts to pick up our skis each day & to the thermal spa too. Location was perfect - only a short walk from lovely old town and the busy area with bars/restaurants. "

"I went with my kids in Jan 09\. The accommodation was excellent, a nice wood burner, good food and beer across the road and not too far from the slopes. I hired a 4x4, and needed it for the track leading to the resort. My kids and I are seriously considering renting it again next year, great holiday, lots of fun, exciting driving and good skiing. And cheap. John"

"Til NYs eve vi var sent på en restaurant et par km væk fra hotellet. Vi var aldrig informeret før rejsen at det er ikke plads i Yagoda restaurant. Jeg var i kontakt med Yagoda flere gange før rejsen og jeg troede vi skal i Yagoda restaurant - afstand er vigtigt punkt når man rejser med børn. Man ryger i restauranten om aften - det var officielt æske bæger til ryger på hvert bord!"

"Room was clean and well stocked, breakfast was great, complimentary refreshments at reception during throughout the day, spa & swimming facilities was great - including bathrobe & slippers (liked the addition of having to wear a swimming cap, I didn't use the gym but it looked decent, not too far for public transport & restaurants. "The location was unbeatable, very near the centre and the main Serdica metro station. The room was well furnished and spacious. A good gym and sauna. The breakfast was fabulous with all the usual things plus lots of Greek savouries and sweets. There isn't really anything to fault the Central Hotel. We would go back in a heart beat."

"Staff offered a “free upgrade” to a junior suit, we had to wait an extra hour and a half for our room to be ready. When we got given our room the room did not look like pictures at all. Yes it was bigger but the “upgraded” room was outdated, dirty, and to be honest creepy. It was like the rest of the hotel had been refurbed apart from this room, it was hidden away down one of the corridors. The room also had an issue with a loud buzzing sound, which we complained about and thankfully we got moved to our original room booking. I don’t know how staff thought it was an upgrade. The standard room was fine, and lovely, looked like the pictures. Do not book the junior suit. "

"Amazing! Travelled with our 10 month old baby and would recommend to anyone staying in Sofia. Hotel was immaculate, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Hotel room was stunning and so spacious. We even had mini toiletries in the bathroom specifically for our baby and a cot was provided free of charge. 100% recommend. "
