There were more stairs and steps than we expected but our room was lovely
My friend and I were made very welcome. Greeted personally by the owner. The twin room was spacious clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very atmospheric and the food exceptional. Candlesticks is in a quiet location and within easy walking distance to centre of Stamford.
Great location, friendly staff, thank you
Beautiful place to stay, we had the family room which was in an adjacent building to the hotel. Quiet, spacious and stylish room. Friendly staff, wonderful food. We will be returning. Thank you
Wonderful historical Inn with a delightful bar and a lovely outside space where you sit amongst raised beds of vegetables. There is even an outside kitchen where during my stay they were producing delicious looking pizza. Well situated for exploring Stamford.
3 sets of very steep stairs quaint at the top which were difficult for us elderly but OK at the top
