“I must admit, we were a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but our experience was just fantastic!
From the polite and friendly staff, the beautiful surroundings, the room (number 14) which was huge and had a wonderful rain shower and complimentary sponge cakes (delicious!), as well as a fan to keep us cool in the unusually hot weather.
We made good use of the spa facilities with a swim in the pool then a relaxing time in the hot tub and sauna to finish. We never had to wait……

“Cleanliness was good, but the humming sound in the bathroom, which I believe it’s from the water heater, was too loud for comfort.
The pillows are excellent but the double bed is too small for 2 adults.
There was no power point by the bedside, which caused some inconvenience for my husband’s CPAP machine.”

“This was good value for money. Right in the center of Stamford, so very convenient. The room was clean, beds comfortable, very quiet. Breakfast selection was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Parking at the hotel was limited but we got a space. Very satisfied, look forward to a return visit to try out the restaurant which was closed on this visit.”

“I live in the US and this is my second stay at the Three Swans. I like the fact it was an old coaching Inn … on booking I was not advised or asked if a room up a lot of steep stairs at the very top of the building would work for me…. I am 75 and it was hard work!
The staff are generally helpful especially the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was excellent. The courtyard that runs alongside the building full of comfortable tables/chairs and many boxes of flowers is a delight. I love Market……

“This was a 1-night stay for work. I was in the Castle room. Car park was free but small. Lovely greeting from owner. Room was spacious as was the ensuite which had a roll-top bath, as well as separate shower. TV was okay as was WiFi. Included in the price was a breakfast, which was offered with cereal, bread for toasting, fresh juice, hot drink and cooked breakfast. I had the cooked breakfast. Room had a desk and chair to work at if required. Nice touch of a small fridge in the upper hallway……
