"This cabin retreat features a beautiful pool and a charming house, making it a pleasant spot for a relaxing getaway, but the lack of direct key access to the river was a letdown, especially in hot weather with a toddler and gear; while the listing highlights being riverside, walking to public river access wasn't practical for our family, which defeated the main reason for choosing this location. Allowing our dog was a definite plus and made our stay easier. Overall, we rated our experience 3 out of 5—if river access is crucial, be sure to confirm details before booking."

"This is our 2nd year of staying here in August to celebrate birthdays and our anniversary. It is a beautiful home in a gorgeous location and sleeps all 9 of us.. The pool was wonderful and used every day as it was over 100 degrees every day!! The few issues we had last year were all addressed (AC in the pool house, extra fan upstairs). Our only small problem this year was that we couldn't use the dishwasher as there were no dishwasher pods/soap, so we had to do dishes for 9 people after every meal!!! We used the dishwasher as our drainboard!! We wrote a message on here and had a quick response that we could go buy some and they would deduct 10 but we never did get any. The cleaning lady arrived at 10 am and had to wait on us as we were told checkout was 11 am and she was told 10. I informed her of the lack of dishwasher soap. Also if you need kleenex or napkins bring your own. We also ran out of toilet paper in two bathrooms the morning we left (after 4 nights). Also would have run out of paper towels if we hadn't brought our own napkins. Except for having to haul away your own trash this place is a great, great place to stay."
