We prefer not to stay at a simple hotel that looked soul sucking and as we were there to see family, having somewhere to relax that had a pool and hot tub option was high on our list. This is a bnb so if you're a morning person or want to sleep in, this isn't your place (though, they did seem to have some other out buildings that you can rent and might be a good option- we were in the main...

“Nice and peaceful. Authentic ranch environment on an open range, with cattle, coyotes in the distance, and a couple of nice barn cats. The quarters are new remodeled. Very clean. Nice place to get away and slow down. Highly recommend this place when in town for A&M functions, or if you need a real getaway from city life. Just a few miles to the campus, and close to the airport as well if you fly charter.”

“Cute cottages! This is a nice property. Modern and clean. Convenient and easy check-in. Looks very family friendly although we were on a quick girls trip to Round Top. The only thing to know is the lofts are not full height. Fine for kids, a little difficult for adults. But it served its purpose just fine. ”
