“The location provides a wonderful view! And it is well provided for. However, going up the hill to the place is quite steep. As older folks we did not dare walk down to the downtown. For us the bed was too soft but some might like it. Overall we had a nice stay.”

“I had a wonderful evening out in the yurt. The property was absolutely beautiful day and night. I loved the bathtub in the yurt as well! The main house was so fun and decorated in a way that you can spend hours looking at. All in all it was a very fun stay!”

“This historic building has been thoughtfully updated, preserving all of its original architectural features. Very attentive staff, with a nice restaurant and bar. The upstairs lounge area is a great spot to enjoy. No elevator, no complaints; it’s over 150 years old. Small rooms are expected, but the room was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed and upgraded. Needs more electrical outlets, so consider bringing your outlet strip. No TV, no problem. Nevada City is a fun little town.”
