If service and quality matter to you then this may not be the place. We were locked out of our room five of the six days. The Bear Claw coffee cafe did not have breakfast sandwiches three of the six days and no black tea, despite there being black tea in the breakfast room. Many of the rides at the amusement park were not running. The lazy river was feeling two days of our stay. Overall, it seemed most of the employees spent their time apologizing for a computer system that was not efficient, or services they could not provide. We waited 90+ minutes for dinner at the Hurricane Cafe because the kitchen was backed up. The dinner ordered was 2 children's meals (cheeseburger and chicken tenders and one chicken sandwich) and there were a total of 4 tables with groups of five or less in the restaurant during that time. It seemed that they were understaffed and many employees appeared to be high school kids who could benefit from some training on customer service and work ethic.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. There was a lot of dog hair inside the cabin and on the outdoor furniture and cushions. We also found dust and cobwebs around the ceiling and light fixtures, making it seem like the cabin had not been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. Considering the price, I expected a much cleaner accommodation. I understand that guests are expected to wash the kitchen items they use and leave the cabin tidy, but I was surprised that we were also expected to strip the beds and sweep the floors before checking out. For the amount we paid, I don’t think guests should have to do part of the cleaning themselves, especially when the cabin wasn’t spotless upon arrival. The location is wonderful, but better cleaning and more reasonable checkout expectations would make the experience much better.

The place was very clean and had everything I needed to stay the night, the breakfast was good, not much fresh fruit, but eggs & ham and limited cereal & juice. The room was good size and quite. They have both indoor and outdoor pools and a seating area outside and very close to the Park. You see and hear the music from the parking lot and the roller coaster. It almost close by to the mini golf. I would stay here again if I'm in the area

Hidden gem. Clean updated rooms. Lakeside beach. So many ways to enjoy yourself. Private beach, BBQ, patio, pool. Owners on staff were fantastic and overly accommodating. Had a great time and will 100% return.
