“Had a last minute opportunity to visit my daughter and looked at VRBO since I've always had great luck with them. Got to the property and found out that my room was 1/4 price per night. I paid VRBO more than 4 times what the hotel price was per night. Property was just barely OK. Pool was closed. Breakfast made my daughter violently ill which put a damper on the weekend. Feel stupid and taken advantage of...and yes, I am part of that responsibility so that is why I am writing this review...buyer……

“I arrived late from a concert at Clemson and was told that I was considered a no-show, and my room was no longer available. Then told that they were full. However, the manager disappeared and told me to wait. Upon his return, he told me that he had put clean linens on the bed in a dirty room and I could sleep there. I was so tired that I couldn't drive anymore, so I went to that room and slept for 4 hours. And it was, indeed, dirty. So, I spent $200.00 to sleep in a dirty room for 4 hours……
