"We absolutely loved our stay at Matlacha on Shoreview! Tucked away and wonderfully quiet, it felt like a true off-the-beaten-path retreat. The staff went above and beyond—so friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the complimentary kayaks for exploring the water and really appreciated having laundry facilities available during our stay. A special highlight was the Memorial Day reception with delicious snacks and beverages—it was such a thoughtful touch that made the holiday feel extra special. This place is a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back!"

"I can’t thank Sondra and Bob enough, the villa was amazing and the amenities were perfect. The owners kept in contact with us and gave plenty of information about the area, where to dine, and what to see while we vacationed. We did our 30th anniversary vow renewal on the patio and it was perfect. If you decide to see beautiful Cape Coral let me suggest staying here, you can’t beat it."

"We had a great stay! The house was exactly what we expected clean, comfortable, and the pool was a big hit. The dock was perfect for the fishing lovers in our group.A few small suggestions:• The listing mentions a pier within walking distance, but it’s no longer there due to a hurricane, so that could use an update.• Essentials like toilet paper and dish soap were limited, so bring a few basics just in case.• We had 7 guests but only 6 towels would recommend having at least one per person.Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable place. We’d definitely come back"
