There's heaps to do in Toledo, but head farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Pick up a set of wheels and you can roam around the surrounding region at your leisure. Add these awesome destinations to your list:

• Head to Cancun for a fun-filled sightseeing experience. Roughly 40 miles from Toledo, it has many amazing sights such as La Isla Shopping Mall.
• Why not check out everything on offer in Tulum too? Major tourist attractions here include Tulum Mayan Ruins. Tulum is about 35 miles from Toledo.
• Get out into the outdoors and appreciate the serenity at Progreso Beach. It's 170 miles from Toledo.
