“Hacienda del Sol is a wonderful place! Unlike many hotels in Taos that have modernized decor, HdS has kept its authentic Southwestern aesthetic and charm. It has a feel of a cozy B&B, with private rooms and a fantastic communal breakfast. “The property is very dated, dark and depressing. There is no grass or yard around the pool area, and you had to go through a colony of gophers to get to the pool. The breakfast was good, but the area again was dark, hot and grease smelling. Never again!”
