“No breakfast unless you want a cup of yogurt without spoons and cereal without milk, or spoons. I even went to the desk to ask for milk to make a bottle for my baby. They said “we don’t have milk”. The carpets were filthy. Homeless people everywhere, loud in the hallways all night. I felt dirtier after my shower somehow. There was no mini fridge in our room, so I couldn’t keep my baby’s food. The two women at the desk were both on their personal phones, talking in Spanish on the phone while……
