Host was great and notified us once the place was ready prior to check-in time and also allowed us to keep our car at the home a few hours after check out. "My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was well-equipped and conveniently located a short walk from the lake, downtown, and Hoover Auditorium. The air conditioning worked great on hot and humid days and on more pleasant days we especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. We would definitely stay there again."

The owners have it stocked with about everything you need, which means, I didnt have to run to the store for necessities. We would definitely stay again."

"We stayed here last year, location was decent and the house is roomy and like the fact that there are many beds. The kitchen sink drained very slowly on the right (garbage disposal side) it also backed up when we ran the dishwasher then went down. The dishwasher did not seem to wash the dishes very well. Also it seemed like something was leaking down below, a couple of things were wet but not real bad. The TV remote was no where to be found, used the one from the upstairs which turned on two...

"My husband and I along with our two boys ages 7 & 4, absolutely LOVED this place! Boys are already asking to go back! We were just close enough to all the activities we wanted to do. Also right across from us is a nice view of the lake. The house is well kept and very clean. The sunroom was our favorite room in the house it has a pinball machine radio mini fridge games and lots of toys for the kids. Great communication with the host as well and we loved Bootsy the neighbors cat! Great quiet...

"Property was good location, clse to the lake on southeast side of the island. House was spacious with plenty of room for all 8 guests. Very nice bar area. Exterior of the house needs cleaned with a few repairs needed. Front of house has no shade in afternoon, but we took our own pop-up. Golf cart was not available which would have made location more enjoyable to view neighborhood. Got to see family of foxes roaming around but no issues with them other than chewed flip-flop left outside over...
