Solitude on 172 private acres in Highland County.

10/10 Excellent

"This place was amazing. Deff one of our favorites and we will be back. Steve was an incredible host, very easy to work with and made our time so enjoyable. The kids had so much fun, we enjoyed exploring the property and being in Creation. It is solitude and refreshing to get away from the hustle of life. The wildlife, cows and stars at night were a highlight. The setting is amazing. So much better than the pictures can show. I recommend everyone to experience this place."

~ Cabin in the Wildwoods ~ Secluded ~ Rustic ~ Family Friendly~

10/10 Excellent

"This charming cabin is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful & relaxing location. The cabin is clean and comfortable, with a lovely rustic decor filled with warm personal touches. It was supplied with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sitting on the front porch beside the relaxing sound of the flowing stream, overlooking the secluded landscape was a favorite part of our stay. It is a short drive to nearby Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks. We would definitely love to stay here again!"

cabin on a stream

10/10 Excellent

"You couldn't ask for anything more. Kitchen was well stocked with all the spices you need, pots and pans, utensils, coffees. Beds were very comfortable with lots of blankets, if you wanted a window open. Comfy bathrobes were also supplied for your use. Bath towels were large and soft. Plenty of hot water. We never used the gas grilles or charcoal grille, but did have a nice evening by the open fire pit listening to the stream. Plenty of wood supplied. Side trip to Franklin and Monterey was nice. Highly suggest a short hop over to Dry Run Distillery where Jeff can explain why his small batches make the tasting liquor, and yes he offers a taste of each recipe. All in all, we had a marvelous time and enjoyed it so much we plan on a return trip one week, The pictures on the website don't do it justice!!!"

GRANDMAS VACATION HOME ON REEDS CREEK, FRANKLIN,WV WITH STARLINK WIFI -CALLING

10/10 Excellent

"We enjoyed our stay at Grandma’s House. It is a very cozy spot and has everything you need if you want to get away. Host communicated with us our entire stay and even suggested some fishing spots. Can’t wait to go back."

Stargazer's Retreat with Mtn Views

10/10 Excellent

"Stargazers Retreat is an absolute gem tucked away in the mountains outside Monterey. From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. The owners clearly put a lot of care into making the home welcoming and comfortable. The views are incredible—rolling ridgelines in every direction—and the night sky is unreal. With zero light pollution (after you unplug the deck lights), you can see more stars than you ever thought possible. I haven't seen that many stars since my time on a navy cruiser at sea. The Milky Way was plainly visible and we saw several shooting stars. We spent hours on the deck just watching the sky and listening to the quiet. Our grandkids weren't much for stargazing, but they were fascinated by the cows on the adjacent properties. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, disconnect, and breathe for a while. The location is ideal if you enjoy scenic drives, US 220 from Monterey to Warm Springs was our favorite. Monterey is just a short trip away, and the surrounding area offers great hiking, trout fishing, and small‑town charm. If you’re looking for a serene mountain retreat with top‑notch hosts, Stargazers Retreat is truly outstanding. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back."
