“Very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, hot chocolate, and appliances. We had everything we needed. We also loved the fire pit and the forest. We felt cozy and safe. ”

“When you arrive at the motel, your first impression is what was I thinking. The outside is not an indicator of the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are very nice inside and i'm a very picky traveler. Beds were very nice. Actually, the whole experience inside was wonderful. Nice little cafe next door to get food. I would spend the night there again.”

“This stay was nothing short of perfect, in large part due to Melba and her family were incredible hosts. My husband and I drove up from TN for a family reunion, and loved having a place to stay all to ourselves. The location was great--only about 20 minutes to where we needed to go in any direction. Melba even gave us permission to go look at their new baby goats, which absolutely made my day. I cannot wait to come back! I will mention that it does get bright as the sun rises, and the best is……

“Rooms on bottom floor get to listen to the click clack of wheels across tile. Laundry room is located in the middle of rooms and cleaning staff is very loud. NOT conducive to rest. Continental breakfast is a joke and coffee is WEAK. ”

“Our host was very prompt & clear in her communication. She answered a few questions quickly, and I got the check-in information on time as well. The property is very cozy & comfortable. The bed was comfy, as was the couch. The big screen television had free Netflix & Hulu to choose from. The internet instructions were clear and easy to use. Although we did not use the hot tub (was a bit too cold outside for us that evening), there were clear instructions & towels available for us to use. I would……

“Had a small issue with the master bedroom, however the host was quick to offer solutions. Everything else was great…huge yard with dog disposal, inside had pretty much everything you need and other reviewers all commented on it. Super close to the Triple Crown hikes. If I had to nitpick? More blinds or curtains for increased privacy. Otherwise, really great property and host!”
